Utilization Review (UR) | Retrospective analysis of the patterns of service usage in order to determine means for optimizing the value of services provided (minimizes cost and maximizes effectiveness/appropriateness). |
Utilization Risk | The risk that actual service utilization might differ from utilization projections. |
